The Pope Comes. The Pope Arrived. The Pope went away.

This so announced and promoted visit, criticized by ones and praised by others, it has been useful for discovering some curiosities of the present-day Cuban society; The first thing, the demonstration of force of the Cuban government, that made many things to handicap that the opponents that declare the Catholic faith get to the Plaza, while they dedicated the communist centers like in his better times, to mobilize the crowds communist or no, in order to attend a St. Mass that for the majority of the convoked would not have significance.

As to the Holy Father, he did his role, he said what he was having to say with moderation, without falling in political extremisms, but he demonstrated with his presence in one of the last few bastions of communism, that this political system failed from the moment that he could not eradicate the religiousness of Cubans in spite of efforts accomplished in that way. Some ask for more from Benedict XVI, why?

Cubans, they must stop looking out to resolve the national problems; The government accuses of all its illnesses to the imperialism, to the European Union and to whichever in the world that not applaud them, while hope that the solidary help allow them to take out the head from the water. Others, we, we waited ingenuous that our freedom be brought by Vicar of Christ, or the President on duty at United States, or the Spanish Partido Popular, or the Cuban community out-of-doors.

We will rid of communism when we lose fear to changes and to repression. The development of the nation depends exclusively on our own efforts at a democratic country, but first must win us freedom and for it one can begin not to go to the Plaza when dictatorship convokes him. Each one must decide what kind of country wants and what he can make to achieve it.
